Aprotinin is a polypeptide containing 58 amino acids. It can inhibit a variety of proteolytic enzymes including chymotrypsin, pancreatic kallikrein, plasmin and trypsin. Aprotinin is present in blood and various tissues, with the highest content in the lungs. The high-purity aprotinin produced by our company is isolated and extracted from the bovine lung, and further prepared by affinity chromatography. The product shows a single band in SDS-PAGE electrophoresis.
